But, I just didn’t get around to it. I had only gotten around to making a few freezer pasta bakes before his decided to make an early appearance.
So my more realistic
I’m a mom and I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen plan is to make some freezer meals by doubling recipes I’m already making. That way, I’m storing away dinners while making dinners.
As I make them, I figure I should share them, I’ll share how I like them. So far, I’ve had a few wins and a few not-our-favorites.
The freezer bake above. A total win. And it’s better after frozen.
So, first, a win. The peppers in our garden were a bust this year. (Thanks to those annoying bunnies.) So, I bought two 3-packs of peppers at Aldis and went to work making one of our favorite summer dishes – stuffed peppers.
This one is super easy to make into a freezer meal. Since the recipe calls for 6 peppers, I just split it up into three containers – I made one and froze two.
