How could I have forgotten to share the finished product of my crocheted granny squares?
I started the squares in March. I finished up the scarf in November. And, I’m finally posting it in January. Seems reasonable.
I think it turned out really well. And it’s really warm, too. Which is a plus since I live in the arctic, also known as the Midwest.
What? You didn’t know that the Weather Channel just announced that Illinois is now part of the Arctic Circle? Where the heck have you been?
And here’s the obligatory photo featuring Kim and the new scarf. This was in November. Since this shot, I’ve lost 20 points and gotten an eye lift.
Just kidding. But, I did get rid of those stray threads.
I think the next crochet project will be dish cloths. So, given my timeliness, you can expect details in the year 2043.
What do you think?

It looks so cozy! I wear scarves all the time because our office is so cold. Loves the shades of grey.

Love the scarf and the colors….I need to add crocheting to my list of things to learn. And two months really is not that bad. You just have been too busy with exciting things to post about!

The scarf was worth the wait.

Nice. I liked the colors you picked. I started a wrap-thing with a crochet tool thing….that was 3 years ago. Let’s have a race- your dish cloths vs. my wrap.

cute scarf!
to answer your question, when i am doing good…i usually spend around an hour a week clipping & organizing coupons, but then more time trying to plan our menu around what i can buy cheap! i’m looking for a less time-consuming way, but in the meantime, i’m hoping to do a couponing post soon!

Great looking scarf! Also, I just wanted to mention that I LOVE the knit/crocheted dish clothes that my grandmother makes me. They can go down into the garborater (sp?), take a few spins with the the orange rinds and still come out unscathed!

Love it! I’m a scarf girl and I really should look into learning to make my own.

Too cute, Kim! It looks pretty and snuggly, high on my list of “musts” for a scarf. 🙂
