The dogs get water EVERYWHERE when they drink, and we hoped that having the bowl raised would help. We also find that the bowls get scattered around everywhere and this would keep them in one place.
Ryan had looked online for inspiration, and then he went at it. It took hardly any time at all – and he had this. (I’m a lucky girl.)
Then, I brushed on a few coats of white paint and Ryan added holes for the bowls.
Franco and Lola seem to like it, and I love that it looks much neater. Plus, it seems that less water gets slobbered throughout the kitchen.
It’s a similar (almost exact) replica to the bench Ryan built for the front porch. And, since similar elevated bowls are selling for $50-$150 on Etsy and other online sources, I’m thrilled.
