Ryan is finishing the outside of the garage today. It has been a work in progress, mainly because the weather has been terrible for the last 5 months…. it practically snowed from Nov. 1 – March 1 and rained from March 1 – now.
Anyhow, he sided it and ran the electricity. It looks great! Today, he is closing it up with the soffits. Unfortunately for the birds that have called the garage home, today was EVICTION DAY.
Now, don’t get us wrong, we are animal lovers. We like birds. In fact, we were even given a bird house that will go up in the front tree shortly. However, the birds cannot live in our garage.
But, the birds built a nest (primarily with the hay that we used to keep the grass seed down). Ryan needed to remove it today.
The plan – to move the nest safely to the front yard.
However, it didn’t go as planned. The birds didn’t understand that today was eviction day. They built the nest without a bottom……
Did we mention its nearly impossible to move a nest without a bottom?
